Vuosaari has got to be the most beautiful part of the capital of Finland, Helsinki, with its forests and beautiful beaches by the sea, where the nature is very much alive and present.
You can get to Vuosaari easily by metro from the Helsinki centre, or even straight by ship from Germany. Have not yet tried that ship though, but it’s on my list.
Smaller boats will take you to Kaunissaari and Hakaniemi from Vuosaari during summertime, and nowadays even supping is also common there. It looks like a fun thing to do!
Picnic by the Vuosaari beach is a nice timepass on a sunny day during summertime and there’s also a few nice restaurants and cafes worth paying a visit.
