Today’s panoramic photo is from Chennai, India. The red candles are burning outside St. Thomas Cathedral Basilica, which is a beautiful white church built by Portuguese explorers in the 16th century.

Wikipedia says St. Thomas Cathedral Basilica is one of the only three known churches in the world built over the tomb of an apostle of Jesus, the other two being St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City and Santiago de Compostela Cathedral in Galicia, Spain.
