It deals with the cultural differences of East and West, from the point of view of a party girl and homey girl. It is a movie about friendship and love.

The movie Chennai Express is directed by Rohit Shetty. Being a light and humorous Bollywood masala film, it gives you several laughs and a couple of tears.

Aamir Khan is an Indian movie actor, movie producer and a movie director. In addition to this people in India have seen him also as a talk show host. His show brought up social injustice issues in India.

Aamir was born in 1965 and having relatives in the Bollywood film industry, he began his career as a child actor in 1973 at the age of 8.

The movie Taare Zameen Par was produced and directed by Aamir Khan. It tells a beautiful story of a young school boy who has dyslexia, difficulty in reading, and how his teacher, played by Aamir, helps him with this problem. Taare Zameen Par got many rewards.

  • Dhobi Ghat (2011) ****

Dhobi Ghat, directed by Kiran Rao, tells a beautifully shot story of an artist in Mumbai.

  • PK (2014) *****

The movie PK, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, tells a story about an alien who lands on earth but can not get back to his spaceship. The alien starts practicing religion hoping that God would help him.

The title 7 Khoon Maaf means seven murders forgiven. In this movie, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Priyanka has had one the best performances ever. The movie deals with relationship problems and religious issues almost ironically.

  • Barfi! (2012) ****½

Barfi! is a pretty movie from the 70’s in which Priyanka Chopra plays the character of an autistic girl. Indivue considered this much rewarded movie as the best Bollywood movie of 2012. The movie tells about the sincerity of disabled people in a very touching way.

  • Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) ***

Shore Temple in Mahabalipuram, and 5 reasons to see it


Shore Temple is located by the sea in the East Coast of India and it is said to have been built in 700 – 728 AD. Here’s 5 reasons why you should go and see this Hindu temple by the Bay of Bengal. It has survived over 2500 years by the sea and even a tsunami –

5 reasons to see the Shore Temple in Mahabalipuram

  1. Shore Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Monument. 
  2. It is one of the oldest structural stone temples of South India.
  3. Shore Temple is beautiful and impressive to look and experience at.
  4. Shore Temple is located by the Bay of Bengal, so you get to see the East Coast of India at the same time.
  5. Mahabalipuram Dance Festival is held by this site, to celebrate traditional Indian dance.

The photographs from Mahabalipuram show you the clear blue sky on a typical hot and sunny day in Tamil Nadu. There’s a green nature surrounding the Shore Temples.
