12 ways to travel in India (video)

12 ways to travel in India (video)

Today let me introduce to you a video titled  12 ways to travel in India.

It took some ten years to shoot this video. The reason being that the scenes are from various parts of India: East, North and West of India, and I was actually living in Finland most of the time. The distance between India and Finland is some 6000 kilometers. But here it is now – 12 ways to travel in India, in just two minutes – a video inspiring and encouraging other travellers to try the Indian train, camel, horse, scooter, airplane, bicycle rickshaw and what else – see it for yourself!

During all this time I’ve been blogging in Finnish, and you can read the Travel Opus to India in Finnish here. Find some of them articles about India in English here.

You might also be interested in reading some specific Indivue articles only about Agra, Delhi, Chennai, Goa, Panjim, GokarnJaipurMumbai, and Rishikesh.for example – Find them easily from the links and check out later for updates!

Marina Beach in Chennai (video preview)

Marina Beach in Chennai (video preview)

Today let me introduce to you this scene I captured while travelling in the East Coast of India – the Marina Beach in Chennai. The waves hitting the Marina Beach were actually often a lot more rougher than what I’ve experienced in the West coast of India – check for a comparison the video from the West Coast of India and Cavelossim Beach in Goa.

Marina Beach was not suitable for swimming, but otherwise very photogenic, especially when crowded.

Allthough Chennai is very well known for its own film industry, Tamil cinema, also known as Kollywood, there was also one nice Bollywood movie shot there, which is Chennai Express, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
Back in 2013 when this Chennai Express movie was originally released, it was also seen in theatres in Finland. Indivue reviewed the movie Chennai Express in Finnish here.

Around India, instantly with images

Around India, instantly with images

India is a huge country, consisting of 29 states and 7 union territories.

So far I’ve visited some ten of them states of India, and it is really a fascinating dream to think of travelling and experiencing all of them Indian states and photograph them.

And no, I would not call it an unrealistic dream, since it was possible to see all the Goan beaches as well, as you can read from the linked article.

But since travelling all around India would be taking so much time and money, as well as lots of arrangements and courage, I decided, for the time being, to collect an instaimage gallery of all the states of India in order to have a quick look at them through the eyes of those who have already been there or are there at the moment, instagramming.

That will make a nice visual adventure to India, so do check the links below and get yourself an instant experience of all the Indian states and union territories. Something unexpectable might also be meeting your eyes. – Otherwise, why would they call it an incredible India.

So do stay tuned for more Indivue art and travel tips to come, from India, Europe, and hopefully later, the rest of the world!
