Best of Oslo sights -video

Talking about the Travel Opus to Europe, Oslo in Norway is one of them very essential places to visit in Europe. Although it is in many ways very similar to the neighbouring capitals Stockholm and Copenhagen, it still has its own, kind of royal feel to it. The small size of Oslo is also charming.

The good thing is that, although Norway does not belong to EU, it was still very smooth and uncomplicated to travel between Helsinki and Oslo by air.

Here are the 10 must see sights of Oslo in a short video. Images by Indivue.

Essential Delhi sights -video

Last week I had the joy and honor to experience the Incredible India Road Show in Helsinki, Finland and update my knowledge about the travel destinations and other travel related issues concerning India.

After 13 years of blogging in Finnish and in English, especially about Goa, India and the Indian art and culture and Bollywood, I was happy to hear that there is a huge growth in India with tourist arrivals from Nordic countries.

It was told that travelling to India is becoming easier: There is now E-visa for 166 countries with 60 days validity and some single entries can be converted to double/triple entries and extending E-visa is also possible for various segments like tourist, medical and business.

And nowadays India has also got some tourist friendly initiatives like 24/7 toll free multilingual tourist helpline and India is also a Wi-Fi enabled tourist destination in railway stations and airports.

Delhi, being the capital of India, is one of its fastest growing cities and from Delhi you can get almost anywhere in India, by road, air and railways.

Delhi itself is divided into two, the new and the old Delhi, and you can see the remains of seven important capitals there, like Shahjahanabad and Qutub Minar, on which the modern day Delhi is built.

I have told about them many essential sights of Delhi for travellers here, but now, let me update the photos from 2007, back when the blogging speed was next to impossible and computer programs mostly incompatible with each other.

Here are the essential Delhi sights photographed during 2007-2014 in a shortvideo, do check it out:

Many new videos are also on their way, so do subscribe Indivue blog and vlog so that you don’t miss a thing!

Sahakari Spice Farm in South Goa (video)

Elephant_shower_in_Sahakari_Spice_Farm_in_Goa_India

The charm of Goa is very much based on its beautiful nature.

Unfortunately roaming around in Indian forests is not safe for a blogging photographer, but luckily they have developed a solution in India for that, which is those tourist friendly spice plantations. In Goa there are several spice plantations, and I went to visit Sahakari Spice Farm in South Goa four years back –

Sahakari Spice Farm is located in Ponda in South of Goa, far from the traditional Goan tourist attractions. You can get there the best and safest by an A/C-taxi, although it is a very expensive way to travel in Goa.

In Sahakari Spice Farm you can see growing, among others, green nature, flowers, pineapples, cashew nuts, pepper corns and other spices , coconuts and bananas in a tree – you can see those in this video attached as well. Bananas and pineapples growing are indeed a very exotic thing to see for a North European traveler, believe it or not. In addition you might also get to see an elephant and buy organic spices for yourself!

If you are wondering what on earth they are pouring with a ladle to a small childs neck in this video, I must reveal that it is water, which cools you nicely when it runs down your back, as the weather in Goa is otherwise tropically sweaty and hot even in February.

Coconut palms do grow everywhere in Goa, but in spice plantation you can see them without hotels and houses.

Elephants are another luxury you don’t get to see every time you visit India.

Here in this video you can see an elephant taking a do-it-yourself-shower in Sahakari Spice Farm!

The roads in Sahakari Spice farm were well maintained in 2014. They had even made good stairs in the jungle!

Amos Rex art museum opened in Helsinki

New art museum, Amos Rex, opened in Helsinki this week, on 30.8.2018. The museum is located under ground and in the inner yard of the Lasipalatsi building right in the centre of Helsinki.

Inside the museum the architecture combines 60’s design with futuristic vibes nicely, and allthough it is an underground museum, the museum windows will reach on the ground to the inner yard of Lasipalatsi.

The first exhibition in Amos Rex is called Massless by teamLab, and it is really a good example of where the digital art has reached today. Definitely worth seeing. Massless will be there till the beginning of January 2019.

Here’s the INDIVUE video from the opening day of Amos Rex -museum in 30.8.2018. The video will show more pics about the interior of Amos Rex -museum together with the teamLab’s art exhibition.

Nowadays the inner yard of Lasipalatsi makes a very nice background for the photos of tourists visiting Helsinki.

See more underground art and travel tips for Helsinki here!

And did you know that the first ever picture Indivue tweeted in Twitter was actually from Helsinki and from the Lasipalatsi inner yard in May 2013 – and 5 years later (and 800 tweeted INDIVUE images later) they had built this massive Amos Rex art museum right over there.
