Hundred years of Bollywood

This year we are celebrating the hundred years of Bollywood, although the first Indian silent movie, Raja Harishchandra, was published in the year 1913, which was 99 years ago, to be exact.

The debate goes on, whether Bollywood was born along with the publishing of the first movie or whether it was born when they started to make Raja Harishchandra.

Whatever the theory is, we are happy to have Bollywood, since it has got so much to give to all of us.
