• My India adventures

As a photographer and a travel blogger, I have been capturing the vibrant essence of India since 2005. With over a decade of experience and a passion for capturing the beauty of the country, I am proud to present my latest collection of photographs and videos from India during 2005-2022.

My YouTube channel, INDIVUEtv, is a virtual window into the heart of India, showcasing its diverse landscapes, rich culture, and bustling cities. From city-specific playlists to music videos and soundscapes, my channel is a comprehensive guide to India’s many wonders. Additionally, my collection of flight videos and videos of restaurants and cafes around the world, including India, offer a glimpse into the world’s food and travel culture.

To make it easier for you to explore all my India adventures, I have now created a single, comprehensive playlist featuring more than 135 videos of my travels across the country. Whether you’re planning a trip to India or simply looking for a taste of the country’s diverse offerings, this playlist is the perfect way to immerse yourself in its rich culture and breathtaking beauty.

So why wait? Grab some popcorn, press play, and join me on a journey through the incredible country of India. With over four hours of captivating footage, this playlist is sure to take you on an unforgettable journey and leave you yearning for more. And the best part? It’s all free for you to enjoy.

    My India adventures

As a travel blogger, I am thrilled to share my India travel experiences through my visual travel guide, INDIVUE – Trip to India. This comprehensive guide is a result of my several trips to India, and it has been created to showcase the beauty and diversity of this incredible country.

I am also proud to announce that my guide is available in Finnish as well, under the title of Matka Intiaan. This guide is my Christmas gift to all my readers, and I hope that it will inspire others to explore the beauty of India.

In the spirit of the holiday season, I have a special wish for Santa. My goal for 2022 on my YouTube channel is to reach 4000 hours of video views by the end of the year. Unfortunately, due to my studies and the time required to create high-quality videos, I am still far behind my goal.

For those who may be intimidated by the length of my India adventures playlist (4 hours), I want to emphasize that this is a worthwhile investment of time. In comparison, it takes more than 4 hours to produce just one video for YouTube, and even a flight from Finland to India takes longer than 4 hours. So, 4 hours is not a long time to fill with the stunning and captivating footage of my India adventures.

Finally, for those who are curious, I am considering removing this playlist once I have achieved my goal of 4000 hours of views. And I mean the playlist only, not the videos themselves. So, I invite you to watch all of my India adventures now in my YouTube channel indivueTV, while you still can, and to enjoy a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2023!

  • Virtual Tour of Vatican City: Video with English Subtitles

In this blog post, I am excited to share with you my latest video creation – a virtual tour of Vatican City with English subtitles. With my video and subtitles, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the sights of Vatican City from the comfort of your own home. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey. –

    Video Trip to Vatican

    Trip to Vatican

The Vatican City State is located in Rome, Italy, and it has an area of just 0.44 square miles (1.2 km2) with a population of around 800 people.

Inside Vatican you will find the famous St. Peter’s Basilica. Lots of tourists come there, so you need to buy a ticket to get inside the Basilica. Plenty of pillars with lots of statues on top of them surround the St. Peter’s Square as you can see in the video.

Inside the Basilica you can see lots of religious art, icons and sculpture and beautiful architecture. One of the statues is the famous Michelangelo’s Pietà, which tells about Virgin Mary holding a dead body of Jesus. From the Vatican museums you can find a good identical copy of that same statue, which is much easier to photograph than the one inside the Basilica.

In this video you will also see the famous altar inside the Basilica, from where the live broadcast of Pope’s Mass on Christmas comes. On a normal day there are lots of tourists inside the Basilica, but the entrance to the altar is prohibited.

In the middle of the St. Peter’s Square there is a beautiful fountain. It is having fences around it, so it is of no use to fresh up on a hot summer day when temperature goes above 40 degrees, like it did during the filming of this video. Luckily the St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums are cool places even during summer heat. This is to preserve the art pieces.

The entrance to the Vatican Museums is around the corner, after a short walk. Besides all the art you can see in the museum, there is also an inner yard, where you can see green nature, trees and grass. You will see that also in this video.

Famous paintings of Raffaello Sanzio, like Madonna of Foligno, will be shown in this video. No flash light is allowed, which is a common practice in museums to protect the paintings and their colors.

There is lots and lots of ancient sculpture inside the museum and what you see on this video is just a very tiny part of it. Also plenty of amazing art on the ceilings of Vatican museum, especially the Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted by Michelangelo, which they did not allow to photograph. The ban might be for the accidental use of flashlight by tourists, who don’t understand that the flash light wears out the painting and its colors. Just like sunlight discolours your clothes.

Read more why Michelangelo’s famous frescoes have been described as one of the world’s supreme sights and why Vatican might eventually need to consider limiting the number of visitors to the Sistine Chapel, 500 years after its completion.

If you’re planning a trip to Vatican, it is worth reserving the whole day for that trip, because there is so much to see and so many other tourists as well.

    Exploring the Vatican Museums

The Vatican Museums are home to some of the world’s greatest art collections and the museums contain tens of thousands of pieces of artwork, including paintings by Van Gogh, Gauguin, Dali, Raphael, Titian, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Botticelli and others.

The museums were founded in the early 16th century by the Pope and they are located in the Borgo district of Rome, Italy, and Borgo is considered one of the most beautiful areas of Rome. Today the museums are open to the public and visitors can see there the earlier mentioned Sistine Chapel, which contains the ceiling painted by Michelangelo, and the Hall of Tapestries, which features tapestries from the Middle Ages, among others.

The many galleries and exhibits throughout the museum include the Pinacoteca (picture gallery) and the Gregorian Egyptian Museum, just to mention a few.

The Museums are open daily from 9 am to 6 pm with final entry at 4 pm. Every last Sunday of the month there is a free entry, as in 2022. For more information and tickets visit the Vatican Museums official website.

  • Discover the Magic of Helsinki Center During Christmas Walk 2022

Despite of the warm November, Helsinki has received a thick blanket of white snow in December and life feels wonderful. Helsinki turned into a winter wonderland during Christmas and the streets are adorned with lights and decorations, creating a festive atmosphere. Join me on this Helsinki Center Christmas Walk as I share my experience of walking through the centre. The video tells you about the center of Helsinki and its Christmas lights last night.

The arrival of the thick white blanket of snow in Helsinki at the darkest time of the year removed at least my own winter depression. It seems so rare to see so much white snow in Helsinki before Christmas that I had to capture it on this video with all the Christmas lights you can see in the center of Helsinki.

One slip will also be seen in this video. And if you’ve wondered is it possible to walk in highheels in Helsinki during winter, when all the streets are filled with snow, the video will show that some streets are kept as melt without ice, despite the snowfall.

In this video you will get to see e.g. snowy Espa which is Esplanadi park, Mansku which is the main road Mannerheimintie and Kamppi, where the huge shopping mall and metro and busstops are located. Watch the video here –
