Helsinki Photo Exhibition

Welcome to the Helsinki Photo Exhibition – a visual celebration of Finland’s capital city through the seasons.

Helsinki is surrounded by the Baltic Sea and shaped by nature, architecture and Nordic culture. It offers an ever-changing landscape for photography. You can find historic landmarks and elegant city streets, peaceful islands, modern design and vibrant public events as the city reveals a different character with every season and every visit.

This exhibition of mine brings together a selection of photographs captured during years of exploring Helsinki with a camera, within 2005-2025. The collection showcases both well-known sights and lesser-known corners of the city, highlighting its unique combination of urban life, seaside atmosphere and natural beauty.

The photographs document Helsinki in sunlight and snow, during summer festivals and quiet winter days, from coastal viewpoints and hidden neighbourhood streets. Together, they form a visual portrait of a city that is constantly evolving while remaining deeply connected to its maritime heritage and Nordic identity.

As one of Finland’s most photographed cities, Helsinki offers endless opportunities for visual storytelling. My images invite you to discover the city’s architecture, culture, nature and everyday moments of my home city through the eyes of a travel photographer .
