I mentioned about the Elephanta Caves in Mumbai, India, back in 2006, when I was visiting there, and shooting the video attached below. The blog article from that period of time, 2006, with the tiny images, is what was possible to post from India back then. Reason being the laptop with its extremely slow speed for any kind of function, from shifting the photos from my camera to the computer and then cropping them and shifting to a memory stick and taking to an Internet cafe. And then on top of all that we had the very slow internet connection in a Mumbai Net Cafe back then, which took several minutes for a few kilobytes.
So much trouble in 2006, only to tell you about the great sight of Elephanta Caves, which is one them World Heritage Sites located in India. Inside the caves there are many stone carvings made of Hindu Gods. Protected from the monsoon weather. Reachable only by boat.
Today, in 2018, internet enables you to see many other videos about the Elephanta Caves in Mumbai after watching this short video of mine. So do take a look and enjoy you visual adventure!
